SRCMIMM: the software requirements change management and implementation maturity model in the domain of global software development industry

Abstract The software industry has widely adopted global development (GSD) to gain economic benefits. Organizations that engage in GSD face various challenges, the majority being associated with requirements change management (RCM). key motive of this study is develop a requirement and implementation maturity model (SRCMIMM) for could help practitioners assess manage their RCM activities. A systematic literature review questionnaire survey approach are used identify validate critical success factors (CSFs), challenges (CCHs), related best practices process. investigated CSFs CCHs classified into five levels based on concepts existing models other domains, practitioners’ feedback, academic research. Every level comprises different can firm's capability. To evaluate effectiveness proposed model, four case studies conducted firms. SRCMIMM been developed assist organizations improving process efficiency effectiveness.
